Alexander Vinokourov has reportedly unveiled the latest jersey for his famous Kazakh team for the upcoming 2014 season. The renowned general manager for Astana Pro also announced new contributors & charitable donations along with the updated look at a recent press conference.

Astana is one among the pioneer WorldTour squads that came up with an updated look this year. Although the new one shares huge  resemblance with the existing one given the overall display of Kazakhstan’s national colors yet the latest Astana team kit looks little different given the exhibition of new sponsor impression- the Kazakh national airline Air Astana. The team manager also reported about the inclusion of another non-governmental sponsor for the team this time- Astana Motors.

“The gold and blue are our national colors which are pretty unique in the pro cycling zone & they surely ensure a distinct position for our cyclists in peloton”, stated Mr. Vinokourov. “We are very fortunate to stay aligned with our principal sponsor Samruk Kazyna, the Kazakh welfare fund & join up with their esteemed ‘Astana Presidential Club’ meant for the sports teams. These logos have been retained proudly on our new race jersey. We have put the Air Astana impression on the chest & we have also retained logos for Expo 2017 on the team vehicles & printed materials. Astana Motors is our first ever non-governmental sponsor who would be joined by the famous diverse holding firm Raimbek Group.”

The Astana manager described Raimbek Group as a seasoned enterpriser with more than 2 decades of successful and active business ventures across Kazakhstan & all over the globe.

Vinokuorov expressed his gratitude towards the rising number of sponsors who have assisted to strengthen the team enabling Astana to come up with a significant impact across Kazakh community. 2013 was a very successful year for Astana with as many as 15 wins & several podium finishes.
